Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Curating Community, including Playground and related features and services. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Curating Community provides tools for organizing information, creating and managing content, participating in activities, coordinating events and follow-through, and connecting supported third-party services. Features may differ by membership level and may change as the service evolves.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for activity associated with your account and for maintaining appropriate control of the Google or other account used to authenticate with Playground. You agree to provide accurate information when required and not to impersonate another person or misuse another person's account.

3. Memberships and paid features

Some capabilities may require a paid or complimentary membership level. Prices, included features, billing periods, trial or complimentary access, and applicable cancellation terms will be presented when those offerings are made available. Curating Community may modify future pricing or feature packaging, subject to any commitments made for an existing paid period.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create or provide through Curating Community, subject to any rights held by others in material you submit. You grant Curating Community the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, display, and otherwise handle that content solely as needed to operate the features you request and maintain the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit, share, or use content through the service.

5. Google and other third-party services

Playground may connect to third-party services such as Google. Those services are operated by their respective providers and may be subject to their own terms and policies. Enabling a connection authorizes Playground to use the permissions presented to you for the requested feature.

For Google-connected capabilities, Playground is designed to use limited permissions appropriate to the feature. Your Google files, calendars, and other Google resources remain subject to your Google account and Google's services. Disconnecting Playground does not automatically delete content stored in your Google account.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Curating Community to violate applicable law; infringe another person's rights; distribute malware or harmful code; gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data; interfere with operation of the service; misrepresent your identity or authority; or use the service to facilitate fraud, harassment, or other unlawful or abusive conduct.

7. Shared features

Some Playground features are designed for participation with other people. Information you submit to a shared room, event, display, profile, activity, or other shared feature may be visible to participants or other intended viewers. You are responsible for choosing appropriate content for the audience with whom you share it.

8. Availability and changes

Curating Community is an evolving service. Features may be added, modified, suspended, or retired. We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, third-party outages, technical problems, or other circumstances may temporarily affect access.

9. Suspension and termination

Access may be limited or suspended when reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, or third parties; address security or abuse; comply with law; or respond to a material violation of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Curating Community is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not make warranties that the service will meet every requirement, be uninterrupted, or be free of errors. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Curating Community and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service. Any limitations in these Terms apply only to the extent permitted by law.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared, including information associated with optional Google-connected capabilities.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
